The operation of Infiray Mate MAH50R in review
First of all, the attachment extremely compact and is easy to use thanks to the rubberized buttons on the remote control - if you want to use it as a spotting device. With a weight of 530 grams, it is a real lightweight and extremely robust thanks to the material mix of aluminum and magnesium.
The rangefinder – the highlight of the device – has not been placed on the Picatinny rail as planned, so you have Space to attach other accessories. In addition, you have two threaded mounts on the underside of the MAH50R, for example for mounting on a multirail or a Picatinny rail - depending on how you want to use the device.

This ensures quick focusing and makes focusing much easier to use – especially when wearing gloves. This makes it easy to adjust the image to different distances. - laser rangefinder: The new, permanently installed laser rangefinders has a Range of up to 1200 m and thus enables a precise determination of the distance of the piece from the pulpit. We have already been able to measure up to 800 m in our tests and are excited – the Measurement works really well! This is the ideal solution, especially for military hunters with long shooting distances. When measuring, you have the Choice between a scan mode and a single measurementOf course, you must not forget that rain and fog can interfere with the laser beam path, which can lead to measurement errors.
- Removable battery system: Many people have wished for it, Infiray makes it possible: The Mate MAH50R now has a battery changing system – really cool! Just Attach the magnetic IBP-6 battery pack to the housing and you're done. The center bar assembly + power bank is no longer necessary. This means that the battery life of the device can be extended even further and you don't have to worry about your device giving up the ghost at important moments. The battery is charged using the charging cradle included in the delivery, which you can also use to charge the removable remote control.
- External remote control: Another highlight is of course the remote control. This is particularly useful if you have already attached the attachment to your scope: Instead of reaching forwards, you can Use the remote control to conveniently make all settings. The keypad of the Infiray Mate MAH50R can be easily removed from the housing and attached to the rifle in any position using the included mount.
Important: To attach the attachment to your daylight scope, you need the suitable adapter. We recommend the SMARTCLIP AS Adapter from our shop, with which attachments from a wide range of manufacturers can be securely attached to your rifle.
