The Nocpix Lumi L19 (formerly Infiray IRIS IL19) in the test: These are the operating features

The Lumi L19 is formerly known as the IRIS IL19 – we have already taken a closer look at the device in a detailed test. Take a look here in our Infiray IRISIL19 test over, because: Many innovations on the device itself have been brought about by the renaming of Infiray zu Nocpix and from Iris to Lumi. However, there is one significant improvement: the NETD value (mK) has dropped from 20 to less than 18 mK, which makes the device even more sensitive and improves image quality, especially in difficult weather conditions.

  • Compact design: The Nocpix Lumi L19 impresses with its compact design, which is ideal for carrying in your jacket pocket. Thanks to its low weight and ergonomic design, the device is comfortable to hold. Particularly noteworthy is the rotating eyepiece rubber, which effectively prevents glare from the side and is individually adjustable. The diopter compensation can also be easily adjusted, which makes clear vision for glasses wearers guaranteed.
Focusing is done as usual using the rotating ring on the lens, which is located on the front of the device. The lens cap can be removed thanks to the Magnetic closure can be securely fixed to the side. This prevents annoying dangling and noises that could scare away the game. There is also a threaded attachment for the carrying strap at the bottom of the device - our Thermal Neckband is the perfect addition here.
  • Removable battery system: The Lumi L19 is equipped with a practical interchangeable battery system Two of the batteries are included in the delivery - the manufacturer specifies a running time of 6 hours. Please note that this value was always achieved under ideal conditions - we consider 4 hours to be more realistic here, but this is absolutely sufficient.
  • Easy handling: The Operation is self-explanatory: The power button either activates the device or puts it into standby mode. The front arrow button is used for digital zooming, while a longer press activates the picture-in-picture function. The middle button is used to select the color palette and, if pressed for a longer time, allows access to the main menu. The rear button can be used to take photos or start videos. Data can be easily transferred via the USB-C port - either directly to the computer or via the new NocpixAppthat on the Infirayapp, but comes in a revised version.
