Description

Classic design. Compact size

The PULSAR Merger XP50 LRF has the classic design of daylight binoculars. With its small form factor, these thermal imaging binoculars fit comfortably in the hand, while still offering attractive external aesthetics and exemplary ergonomics. The six function keys are located in the convenient access zone and the most frequently used digital device functions can be activated with a single touch.

Comfortable viewing experience

The optical design of the thermal imaging binoculars is completely tailored to the nature of human vision. Naturally, a person absorbs information from vision through two visual channels at the same time. Seeing with two eyes is less tiring than seeing with one eye. This means better detection of small or faint objects and better performance in low-contrast scenarios than comparable monocular thermal imaging devices of the same technical level.

The eye relief of the Merger LRF binoculars is adjustable from 56 to 71 mm to suit the needs of each user.

Built-in precision laser rangefinder

In order to make the right decisions, it is important to accurately estimate the distance of the target. A built-in laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometer allows you to measure the distance in single measurement and continuous scanning modes with an accuracy of ± 1 meter, allowing you to quickly and accurately assess the situation.

High-resolution thermal imaging camera with 640×480 pixels < 25 mK NETD sensor

When observing under conditions with the lowest temperature contrast and in rain or fog, a highly sensitive sensor with < 25 mK NETD only detects very small temperature differences. The resolution of 640x480 pixels ensures reliable identification of the target, high-quality visualization of important anatomical features of the animal and minute details of the surrounding landscape.

Fast lens F50/1.0

The properties of thermal imaging optics have a decisive influence on the ability of a thermal imaging device to detect thermal radiation at the lowest radiation level. In combination with highly sensitive sensors, the high-speed lenses of the Merger LRF (F50/1.0) thermal imaging devices offer the highest detection efficiency. In rain or fog, when the temperature contrast of the observed objects is minimal, the Merger LRF user always has a highly qualitative, detailed, high-contrast and informative image available.

Latest image processing algorithms

The Merger LRF thermal imaging binoculars are equipped with advanced image processing algorithms that demonstrate their effectiveness under various weather conditions and device usage scenarios. With the Merger LRF eyepieces, the user receives a new level of clear and noise-free imaging, with more object detail and improved contrast.

Two independent batteries. Up to 10 hours of performance

The Merger LRF is powered by two rechargeable batteries: a built-in battery with a capacity of 4 Ah, and the other removable battery with a capacity of 3,2 Ah. A single charge guarantees a battery life of up to 10 hours, which is sufficient for the period of active use of the rifle scope while hunting.

The imprint on the housing of the replaceable battery to precisely determine the correct position makes it possible to quickly and safely replace an empty battery with a new one by feeling it in complete darkness.

observation distance

The bright F50/1.0 lens in conjunction with the professional 640×480@17µm sensor promises excellent opportunities for discovering the target object. An object 1,8 m standard size can be detected in absolute darkness at a distance of 1800 m.

Variable magnification from 2.5x to 20x

The up to 8x digital zoom ensures improved sharpness and better recognition of an object at long distances. The zoom can be adjusted either gradually in 2x steps or continuously for a truly optimal field of view tailored to the respective situation.

Robust magnesium alloy housing

The Merger LRF is designed for constant, often tough use. The magnesium alloy housing is both light and robust. The housing reliably protects the internal components of a thermal imaging device against shocks, drops, moisture, heat or cold. At the same time, the metal housing dissipates heat from the electronics, minimizes image noise and increases the operational stability of the device during long-term observations.

Built-in photo and video recorder

The Merger LRF has a built-in video recorder. The Merger LRF's internal memory can store hours of videos and tens of thousands of photos. One press of a button is enough to take a photo of an interesting subject or start a video recording. The recordings are copied to a computer hard drive via a USB-C port.

The Merger LRF owner has 16 GB of storage space to store photos and videos taken with the device Pulsar-Cloud storage available. Simply install the Stream Vision 2 mobile application, log in and connect the device to a smartphone via Wi-Fi.

Remote control via a smartphone and software update with the Stream Vision 2 app

The integrated WiFi connects the Merger LRF to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile application.

This opens up a variety of possibilities, such as: Such as wireless software updates of the device, real-time image transfer from the device to the smartphone screen, publication of photo and video content taken with the device on social media or transmission to messenger applications, remote control of digital device functions and access to the latest news from Pulsar. Registered users also get 16GB of cloud storage for photos and videos taken with the device.

Improved Wi-Fi connectivity with support for the 2.4 / 5 GHz waveband

With the Merger LRF, the frequency range of the standard smartphone connection is supplemented by an effective 2,4 GHz range via a 5 GHz WiFi channel. The 5GHz connection provides better bandwidth, faster data transfer rate, immunity to noise and improved connection stability, resulting in more productive and easier operation of the thermal imaging binoculars with a smartphone.

High contrast HD AMOLED screen

The new AMOLED display with 1024×768 HD resolution offers improved color reproduction, economical power consumption, high contrast and fast response time, providing clear and smooth images when observing on the move or in cold conditions.

A selection of 8 color palettes

A choice of 8 color palettes allows the user to better observe their field of view, optimize the device for specific tasks and respond to changing observation conditions. White-Hot, Black-Hot and Red-Hot are optimal for detecting an object, Rainbow and Ultramarine increase the chances of detection and identification. Red monochrome, sepia and violet are best for long night observations.

Waterproof according to IPX7

Waterproof to IPX7 to protect against heavy rain, snow or other moisture influences. The device is designed to function properly even when submerged in water up to 30 meter deep for up to 1 minutes.

Wide temperature range: -25 to +50°C

The housing, power supply, optics and electronics of the Merger LRF are designed for applications in a wide temperature range. The Merger LRF ensures reliable and effective performance in freezing temperatures down to -25°C.
