PULSAR Axion 2 XG35 LRF
Improved image processing algorithms
The Axion 2 thermal imaging devices use a new approach to image optimization that provides high-quality reproduction of the object under observation as well as the background, depending on the purpose and conditions of observation. Three levels of signal amplification in combination with an associated smoothing filter and finely tunable brightness and contrast settings provide great opportunities to detect the animal at long distances in different weather and temperature conditions and to determine its trophy quality.
Robust magnesium alloy housing
The PULSAR Axion 2 XG35 LRF is designed for constant, often tough use. The housing made of a magnesium alloy is both light and robust. The housing reliably protects the internal components of a thermal imaging device against shock, falling, moisture, heat or cold. At the same time, the metal housing dissipates heat from the electronics, minimizes image noise and increases the operational stability of the device during long-term observations.
Highly sensitive Lynred sensor in PULSAR Axion 2 XG35 LRF
The PULSAR Axion 2 XG35 LRF is equipped with a European Lynred sensor, which records a qualitatively usable signal even under difficult observation conditions such as rain, fog and high humidity at the observation site.
Lens F35/1.0 with large aperture
The Germanium lens F35/1.0 offers high transmission in the long-wave infrared (LWIR) range. Thanks to the high-precision manufacturing of the optical elements of the lens, the image sensor of the thermal imaging device is characterized by PULSAR The image produced by the Axion 2 XG35 LRF stands out for its clarity and detail.
Extended battery life. Up to 7 hours on one battery charge
A high-capacity rechargeable APS5 battery enables the thermal imager to operate for 7 hours continuously on a single charge. The battery is removed from the battery housing in seconds and replaced with a new one. The battery is charged in a dedicated device or within the device from a PC, mains power system or power bank via USB-C. The same sources are used to provide external power to a thermal imaging device.
Improved Wi-Fi connectivity with support for the 2.4 / 5 GHz waveband
With the Axion 2 thermal imaging cameras, the frequency range of the standard smartphone connection is supplemented by an effective 2,4 GHz range via a 5 GHz WiFi channel. The 5GHz connection provides better bandwidth, faster data transfer rate, immunity to noise and improved connection stability, resulting in more productive and easier operation of the thermal imager with a smartphone.
Up to 1750 m detection range
A powerful F35/1,0 lens combined with a highly sensitive thermal imaging sensor offers exceptional shooting capabilities. A standard object 1,8m high can be detected in complete darkness at a distance of up to 1750m.
The PULSAR Axion 2 XG35 LRF – Pocket-friendly size and low weight
The PULSAR Axion 2 XG35 LRF has a space-saving, pocket-sized design and weighs 350 grams. The symmetrical design and the arrangement of the buttons on the top make the device easy to hold and operate for both right- and left-handed users.
Variable magnification
The digital zoom ensures improved sharpness and better recognition of an object at long distances. The zoom can be adjusted either gradually in 2x steps or continuously for a truly optimal field of view tailored to the respective situation.
Built-in photo and video recorder. Free 16GB cloud storage space
The internal memory of the PULSAR Axion 2 XG35 LRF can store hours of videos and tens of thousands of photos. One button is all it takes to take a photo or start recording a video. Axion 2 owners have 16 GB of storage space to store photos and videos in the Pulsar-Cloud storage available. Simply install the Stream Vision 2 mobile application, log in and connect the device to a smartphone via WiFi.
Remote control via a smartphone and software update with the Stream Vision 2 app
The integrated WiFi connects the PULSAR Axion 2 XG35 LRF with Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile application. This opens up a wide range of possibilities, such as wireless software updates of the device, real-time image transmission from the device to the smartphone screen, publishing photo and video content captured with the device on social media or transmission to messenger applications, remote control of digital device functions and access to the latest news from Pulsar.
Waterproof according to IPX7
Waterproof to IPX7 to protect against heavy rain, snow or other moisture influences. The device is designed to function properly even when submerged in water up to 30 meter deep for up to 1 minutes.
AMOLED screen
The high-contrast AMOLED screen has improved color reproduction, is energy efficient and responsive and delivers sharp and smooth images even in frost.
Choice of 8 color palettes
A choice of 8 color palettes allows the user to better observe their field of view, optimize the device for specific tasks and respond to changing observation conditions. White-Hot, Black-Hot and Red-Hot are optimal for detecting an object, Rainbow and Ultramarine increase the chances of detection and identification. Red monochrome, sepia and violet are best for long night observations.
