PULSAR SYMBION LRF DXR50 – Maximum sensitivity for precise observation
The PULSAR The SYMBION LRF DXR50 is a high-performance multispectral binocular specifically designed for detailed observation in open fields. The combination of sensitive thermal imaging technology, an integrated laser rangefinder, and a high-quality AMOLED display ensures reliable target identification day and night, even in challenging visibility conditions. Its balanced design and long battery life make the DXR50 ideal for extended use.
Extremely high thermal sensitivity for the finest details
The SYMBION LRF DXR50 features a thermal imaging sensor with 640 × 480 pixels and a 12 µm pixel pitch. Of particular note is its exceptionally high thermal sensitivity of ≤ 18 mK (NETD), which makes even minimal temperature differences visible. This allows game animals, contours, and details to be clearly distinguished from the background – even in high humidity, fog, or with small temperature differences. The 50 Hz frame rate guarantees smooth and realistic rendering without any lag.
Long range and targeted observation
With a detection range of up to 2.300 meters, the DXR50 offers more than enough performance reserves for long-distance observation. Its 8,8° horizontal field of view is ideal for focused observations in the field or along forest clearings. The base magnification of 6,5x can be extended as needed via the digital zoom to 2x, 4x, or 8x magnification without significantly affecting image stability.
Integrated laser rangefinder for accurate distance measurement
The integrated laser rangefinder significantly expands the functionality of the SYMBION LRF DXR50. Distances can be precisely determined directly during observation, which offers a crucial advantage, especially when estimating distances in the field or at forest edges. Thermal imaging, digital optics, and distance measurement work seamlessly together, providing all relevant information in a single system.
Brilliant AMOLED display and ergonomic operation
The high-resolution AMOLED display with 1920 × 1080 pixels ensures a high-contrast, detailed image with excellent color stability. Even during extended use, the image remains comfortable for the eyes. The ergonomic design, balanced weight of approximately 1.000 g, and intuitive user interface allow for safe and secure handling – both stationary and handheld.
Picture-in-Picture – using both channels simultaneously
With the Picture-in-Picture mode PULSAR The SYMBION LRF DXR50 takes thermal imaging to a new level. Instead of having to switch between the thermal image and the digital channel, both image sources can be used simultaneously. The main image displays either the digital or the thermal image, while the other channel is shown live in the superimposed window.
9 color palettes – optimal adaptation to every observation situation
The PULSAR The SYMBION LRF DXR50 offers a selection of nine different color palettes, allowing the thermal image to be precisely adapted to the specific environment and task. Depending on the situation, warm objects can be made particularly distinct from the background, or subtle temperature differences can be visualized. The following color modes are available for precise target identification and a pleasing image display: White-Hot, Black-Hot, Red-Hot, Rainbow, Red-Monochrome, Sepia, Green, and Violet.
Long battery life and flexible power supply
For extended observation periods, the SYMBION LRF DXR50 is equipped with a powerful interchangeable battery that allows for a runtime of up to 10 hours (2x APS5 batteries). The battery can be quickly swapped as needed, ensuring the device remains ready for use without prolonged interruptions. The robust construction and compact dimensions of 207 × 132 × 72,5 mm underscore the professional aspirations of this multispectral binocular.
