The Nocpix (formerly Infiray) Lumi L35 in the test: These are the operating features

The Nocpix Lumi L35 impresses with its compact design, which makes it perfect for jacket pockets. The device is also extremely light (only 335 g) and fits comfortably in the hand thanks to its ergonomic design. The rotating eyepiece rubber, which prevents glare from the side and can be individually adjusted. The diopter compensation is also easy to adjust and ensures clear vision, even for those who wear glasses.

The Operation is intuitive: The power button is used to either switch the device on or put it into standby mode. It is easy to use: the front arrow button enables digital zooming, and if you press and hold it, the picture-in-picture function is activated. The middle button is used to change the color palette and if you press and hold it, you get to the main menu. The rear button can be used to take photos or record videos. Data can be easily transferred to the computer via the USB-C port or via the new Nocpixapp, which is a revised version of the Infirayapp. At the bottom of the device is the holder for the carrying strap - we recommend our Thermal Neckband, which fits perfectly.

The Focusing is done as usual via the rotating ring for lens adjustment on the front part of the device. The lens cap can be securely attached to the side thanks to the magnetic closure - so nothing dangles around and annoying noises that could scare the game are avoided.

Technical details from the Nocpix Lumi L35 test

The Nocpix Lumi L35 is equipped with a 384 sensor and a relatively narrow field of view of 13 meters which makes it particularly suitable for use in forest and meadow areas with large open spaces or a high proportion of fields. 4x basic magnification is ideal because it shows the game clearly and enlarged. However, the device is less suitable for stalking due to the limited field of view. It offers a detection range of up to 1800 meters and zoom levels of 4x, 8x, 12x and 16x. While the image quality remains good at the first two zoom levels, it deteriorates slightly from 12x and the image appears somewhat torn. The battery lasts around 5 hours, and up to 10 hours are possible with a second battery. Weighing 335 grams, it is compact and lightweight - ideal for sitting in a hide.

Our conclusion on Nocpix Lumi L35

The Nocpix Lumi L35 impressively shows that the Name change from Infiray zu Nocpix does not result in any loss of qualityThis device is an excellent solution for long distances, which is particularly effective at feeding stations, provided that they are not too densely overgrown, or when sitting in a hide with large open spaces. It is also suitable as a compact and lightweight device to support an attachment device in order to efficiently spot meadows and fields.

Overall, that offers Nocpix Lumi L35 a impressive combination of performance, reliability and functionality, which makes it an indispensable companion in the field. We give a clear purchase recommendation!
