Pulsar Krypton 2 FXG50 – Compact and balanced in design
Since every gram counts, this thermal imaging device is the ideal companion in the field or in the forest. Pulsar Krypton 2 FXG50 is characterized by its minimal weight and attractive design. Its compactness creates an optimal weight distribution without affecting the balance, while the controls are easy to reach.
Robust housing thanks to magnesium alloy
Light, robust and safe - the housing of the Pulsar Krypton 2 FXG50 is coated with a magnesium alloy that protects the thermal imaging device and the technology inside it from the stress of shocks and vibrations.
The special alloy also helps to effectively dissipate heat generated in the device or external temperature influences from the installed components. This makes the Krypton 2 FXG50 more stable overall in operation.
Strong sensor with small pixel pitch Pulsar Krypton 2 FXG50
The powerful thermal imaging sensor with 640 × 480 pixels in conjunction with the 12 µm small pixel pitch gives the Pulsar Krypton 2 FXG50 provides a high-contrast and sharp thermal image. This means that the game can be easily recognized and a distinction can be clearly made between the overgrown surroundings and the animal.
The Germanium lens F50/1.0 in conjunction with the 12 µm small pixel pitch and the strong sensor technology enables the detection of standard objects such as deer at a distance of up to 2300 m.
Eight different color modes for all situations
The Pulsar Krypton 2 FXG50 offers a wide range of different colors, which make nighttime observations even more comfortable by relieving eye strain. The eight color modes provide a wide spectrum for thermographic examination of the apron and can be perfectly applied to changing observation conditions.
White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot as color modes are optimal for detecting objects. Rainbow and ultramarine help to increase the chances of detecting and identifying the game. The red monochrome, sepia and violet modes are best suited for extended observations at night and do not strain the eyes in the long term.
16 GB memory for photo and video recordings
The integrated memory offers enough space for hours of video recordings or for over 10.000 images, which can be exchanged with friends or evaluated using the Wi-Fi function and the Stream Vision app. It should be noted that the app is supported by both iOS and Android devices and can be downloaded to the mobile device from the respective app store.
Highest energy performance thanks to the IPS-7 battery
A long-lasting battery is particularly beneficial at night. With up to eleven hours of operation, the IPS-7 battery promises a low-noise environment. No need to swap during the night and if it does happen, the Krypton 2 FXG50 is equipped with the tried-and-tested quick-change system. No tools or fiddling with annoying cables are required.
Pulsar Krypton 2 FXG50 as a handheld device
The optionally available Pulsar 3x20B monocular can transform the Krypton 2 into a compact handheld monocular within seconds. The optional bayonet adapter can also make it easier to switch from a handheld to a modularly adapted thermal imaging device and vice versa.
Conclusion
The Pulsar Krypton 2 FXG50 is handy, lightweight and well made. It offers an optimal interaction of sensor, pixel pitch and lens to guarantee success even at great distances and long observation intervals. The 16 GB internal memory and the compatibility with all mobile devices through the Stream Vision app also convince the active user.
